I love Chinese food! The only other food that comes close, in my opinion, is Italian! I’m so hungry, now. I suppose I should call for takeout. I’m too lazy to attempt this. : (

Thank You. This is wonderful. I have made this dish before but from different cookbooks and this tomato based sauce was not in those recipe’s. Is this a more authentic or traditional version? It does look more like the dish I get in the restaurant. Also what kind of venegar was that you used? I cant wait to cook this.

@pdonyin0 I agree fully. I’m a teen/aspiring linguist, and It’s EXTREMELY hard to speak french as an American.

@pdonyin0 I was born in Germany and I remember my Mother and Father having great difficulty in pronouncing words with ‘th’ in them because in German, there’s no such thing as ‘th’ pronounced that way. My father was fired from a job because his co-workers complained about his accent, and my Mother was once passed over for a job, because she was told that despite being the most qualified, she spoke with an accent. That was all in the 80’s though. These days we could have sued!

That’s not General Tso, that’s sweet and sour chicken. General Tso’s should be sweet and spicy and not sour. Sauce should be dark and very sticky. Fail.
